Gate Valves
Gate valves are primarily used for on-off isolation service in piping systems.
They are designed to provide minimal flow resistance when fully open.
Design Characteristics
Gate valves operate by lifting a gate out of the fluid path.
They are suitable for applications where the valve is either fully open or fully closed,
and are not recommended for frequent throttling service.
Typical Media
- Water and steam
- Oil and hydrocarbons
- Non-corrosive and mildly corrosive fluids
Materials & Sealing
Available materials include carbon steel, stainless steel,
and alloy steel.
Sealing options may include flexible wedge or solid wedge designs
depending on operating conditions.
Applicable Standards
Gate valves can be supplied in accordance with
ANSI, API, ISO, DIN, EN, and GB standards,
including pressure class and face-to-face requirements.
Customization Options
Material grade, end connection type, pressure rating,
and actuator configuration can be adapted to project requirements.
